Thank you to everyone who joined us for “On Hype Thank you to everyone who joined us for “On Hyperion Avenue,” a special walking tour with artists Eve Fowler (@evemfowler), Cirilo Domine (@cirilo.domine), and Sonji Kimmons (@sonjikimmons). The artists reflected on significant queer spaces along Hyperion Ave that are no longer in operation, including Frog Pond, Cuffs, and the Other Side.

This program was organized by Eve Fowler and presented in tandem with “Paul Mpagi Sepuya: Excerpts & Fragments,” on view through December 21 @2413hyperion. Sepuya’s exhibition is presented in dialogue with the long queer history of the neighborhood and the constellation of spaces, past and present, on Hyperion Avenue that have brought queer people together.

I am fond of artists who put pictures together, to ask us about them.”
